Goof Booth AZ is not a company that drives in from somewhere else. Our home and our booths are in East Mesa, at 10605 E Neville Ave, so a Mesa rental starts a few minutes from our door. That matters on event day: when something runs late, or you need an extra hour, the person answering your call is already nearby.
Mesa is a big, varied city, and the events here are too. We set up for backyard birthday parties in the east valley, school dances, church and community socials, wedding receptions and company parties. Rentals start at $400 for two hours, and every package includes the attendant, props, and set up and take down.
Places around Mesa that make good photo backdrops
- Mesa Arts Center. Downtown’s big cultural venue has courtyards and lobbies with plenty of room for an open-air booth, which makes it a good fit for galas and receptions.
- Downtown Mesa. The light rail corridor, murals and restaurants make it popular for evening events and engagement parties.
- Organ Stop Pizza and family restaurants. Large group parties are common here. An enclosed booth keeps the line moving without crowding the dining room.
- Usery Mountain and the desert parks. Great scenery for outdoor celebrations in the cooler months. We would place the booth in shade.
- Church halls and school gyms. Many of our Mesa events are in community buildings. They often have a stage or a bare wall that works well as a backdrop.
Planning a Mesa event
Summer in Mesa runs hot from May through September, so most events are indoors or after sundown. If you are planning an outdoor party in those months, tell us early so we can talk through shade and where the booth should sit.
Mesa school dance season clusters in the fall and spring. Popular dates book up, so if you are planning homecoming or prom, send your date as soon as the venue is confirmed.
